The electric heating element superheater of the PP series is designed to overheat saturated water vapor above the saturation temperature by heating the steam with heating elements.

A superheater, like a steam generator, generates steam, but, unlike the latter, it overheats above the saturation temperature with a pressure higher than atmospheric due to the heat released as a result of the use of electricity. It is used to produce high-temperature steam (up to 250 °C) and increase the efficiency of a steam installation.
